By means of different software, and also, with base maps, satellite images and the new methods, the survey engineering group can provide services to assist in selection of power plant and transmission substation sites; also in selection of T/L routes, irrigation systems, water and gas pipe lines.
Industrial surveying operations in the civil engineering and tremendous land and marine structures is like a precise instrument, and it can extensively be used in activities dealing with installation of thermal power plant turbine, measuring the bearings corrosions, installation of cooling towers, assembly, alignment and leveling of heavy systems in the factory. Moreover, surveying operations in severe places can be fulfilled, by means of, laser total stations and controllable theodolite equipped with smart systems.
Since surveying is assigned to prepare engineering data on land in linear or digital format aimed at studying and performing development projects, in fact it can be a starting point for digitally processed cycle of data in an engineering system. Therefore, digitally prepared topographic maps and plan and profile drawings, and, by means of design software, namely spotting of electric T/Ls, road engineering design and road technical specifications and calculations can be applied to a digital map with special software. Furthermore; various civil/industrial civil designs, yard building, water and sewage designs, and city planning possessing design software can accept a digital map, as an input.
